ULTRAcel [zi:] / LINEARZ is an equipment for lifting/tightening of face and body utilizing the thermal action of energy output from a High Intensity Focused Ultrasound(HIFU) transducer. The areas which can be treated with the ULTRAcel [zi:] / LINEARZ are; brow lifting, bags under eyes, periorbital wrinkles, cheek lifting, face line improvement, nasolabial folds, neck wrinkles, fat reduction of the abdomen, arms, buttocks, and thighs.

General principles of HIFU
HIFU technology— Focused ultrasound waves are delivered via transducers built into the cartridge to a single point at target depth. Since the high-frequency ultrasound beams are focused on a specific skin layer, there’s no damage to skin surface or other tissue. Therefore, HIFU is called “the only medical equipment that can reach the SMAS‧fascia layer (4.5mm layer)”. By stable, high-speed irradiation at the temperature (60°C to 65°C) at which protein denaturation begins to occur, the treatment can be performed with little heat or pain to the patient.
